Please refer to these product data sheets for more information.

Uses
Multithane Std is designed to waterproof most non-exposed applications within the building and construction industry including: Tiled or Covered Areas: Shower recess & wet areas (floors and upturns), decks, balconies, terraces, podiums, retaining walls, planters & landscaped areas, structural slabs, water retaining structures (e.g. tanks), pits and bunding areas.

UVR

Multithane UVR (UV RESISTANT) Waterproofing Membrane

Multithane UV is a UV resistant tar free, elastomeric, single pack, moisture curing liquid polyurethane, waterproofing membrane which cures to form an elastic, high tensile and seamless membrane. Multithane UV is suitable for exposed applications such a roofs, water features, gutters and flashing AS WELL AS areas to be tiled or covered such as wet areas (shower recesses and bathrooms), decks, balconies, planter boxes and more. Multithane is quick curing, usually overnight. This is the Short description. Grey in colour.

Suitable Surfaces
Multithane Std is suitable for most building substrates including: Concrete • Cement • Cement Render • FC and CFC Sheeting • Render • Brick • Block work • Plaster Board • Masonry • Bitumen (when primed with Duram Prime seal) • Metal • Timber, Particle Board, Plywood ( when primed with Duram Prime seal) and metal (if primed with a metal etch primer). Note: Particle Board is not regarded as a suitable substrate for wet areas and particularly shower recesses and should be replaced with CFC sheeting. As a minimum, Particle Board should be sealed with one to two coats of Duram Primeseal. All joins and corners must be sealed with a polyurethane sealant and a reinforced fabric used in conjunction with the membrane.
